Am I missing the point?

Hi All,
First I want to say that I really like TVS and this great community of people.

But it dawned on me while thinking of ideas for videos to add, that I'm not clear on how putting videos on TVS is better or different than putting them on our own blog or site and putting adsense next to them?

Is it the SEO aspect of TVS and the actual traffic to the site as a whole that is beneficial to us all?

firstly.. you will get traffic to your video pages from this website..

your video pages will rank very well in the search engines

most importantly, you get referrals on TVS that will not get anywhere else.

doing exactly the same as you are.

If you follow the steps listed on the forum over time you will do very well from this whole strategy.

We will soon be listing on pages the top 20 Video submitters with links to their user pages to help surfers find your videos.

Additionally we will be making the site much more navigatable to ensure users get more video views etc.
